I wasted hours arguing about American politics on Facebook yesterday.
Politics that I can't verify. That doesn't affect me because I live in Malaysia.
But I saw something that triggered me, and suddenly I'm writing rebuttals to strangers.
Then someone commented: "Stay in your lane."
Another asked why I was alienating half my audience.
A third simply said: "It's better when you stick to what you know."
They were right.
Those callouts created the pause I needed. Made me stop and actually see what I was doing.
Without them, I'd probably still be crafting the perfect political takedown while my actual business sat untouched.
This is the part most people miss about growth:
You can't always catch yourself.
Blind spots are called blind spots because you literally cannot see them.
Often, we need someone willing to say "Hey, you're doing that thing again."
This is why I pay for coaching and mentoring.
Not for the strategies - I can find those anywhere.
I pay for someone to call out patterns I can't see myself.
Most people hate this.
They want "like-minded" communities where everyone thinks the same way.
No friction. No challenges. Just comfortable agreement.
But growth-minded people? We pay for discomfort.
We want someone who'll interrupt our BS, challenge our assumptions, and refuse to let us hide.
And in the AI Client Factory, this is what I do for members.
When they're chasing shiny objects instead of implementing, I call it out.
When they're perfecting instead of shipping, I say something.
When they're solving the wrong problem, we address it directly.
Not because I'm mean. Because I've been where they are.
And I know that sometimes the most valuable thing isn't another strategy or tactic.
It's someone who cares enough to interrupt your pattern.
Yesterday reminded me why I value this so much. Those strangers gave me a gift by calling me out.
In ACF, we do this for each other daily.
Through implementation calls where we check what you actually did (not what you planned).
Through direct feedback on your content and offers.
Through questions that reveal when you're fooling yourself.
Because left to our own devices, we all drift.
Yesterday's political detour became today's business insight.
Even mistakes become content when you have systems for reflection.
But first, someone had to stop me from making a bigger mistake.
That's why I pay for feedback. And why I provide it.
Ready for someone to have your back?
The next AI Client Factory intake happens in July.
Only 2 spots left for people who want real feedback, not just cheerleading.
Invite closes on 15th this month.
