Why video games are fun by business is often not:
In video games, everything is defined.
Clear objectives. Measurable progress. Instant feedback.
Do X, get Y.
Beat this boss, unlock the next level.
Your brain can relax into the structure.
But business?
Business is the only game where nobody tells you the rules.
You defeat what you think is the final boss - landing that big client, hitting that revenue goal, solving that major problem.
Then you discover it was just another mini-boss.
The real challenge hasn't even started.
The objectives keep shifting.
Yesterday's side quest became today's main mission.
The primary goal turns irrelevant overnight.
Other players are in the game too, but they're playing by their own defined games.
In business there's no tutorial mode.
No respawn points.
No progress bar showing how close you are to "winning."
You have to figure it all out:
What's the actual goal?
Which battles matter?
What's a main quest versus a side quest?
Who's an ally versus just another player?
Even with the clearest roadmap (like in AI Client Factory), you face endless micro-decisions daily.
Each one could be crucial.
Or completely irrelevant.
(No tooltips!)
It's why most people default to ‘simple activities’ when they’re tired.
Your brain craves simpler activities with clear rules and predictable outcomes.
It's exhaustion from playing a game where the rules keep changing and nobody tells you what winning even means.
This is why having someone who's been through the levels matters.
Someone who can tell you "that's not the final boss, save your resources"
Or "this side quest actually unlocks the path forward."
Not someone who plays the game for you.
But someone who's mapped enough of the territory to help you navigate.
In the AI Client Factory, I've spent years identifying these patterns.
Building systems that create clarity in the chaos.
Business will never be simple.
But by showing you which complexity matters and which is just noise, you get to avoid wasting time by taking advantage of someone who’s done it before.
The August intake is the last open enrollment before AI Client Factory becomes invitation-only.
