Create for the tribe. Distribute to strangers.

I failed my YouTube goal last year.

I wanted 10,000 subscribers. I got 800.

The reason wasn't the algorithm.

It was my rigidity.

I told myself I needed scripts.

I told myself I needed professional editing.

I told myself it had to be "on brand."

These were rules I made up. And because they added friction, I stopped posting whenever business got busy.

I prioritized the "how" (production value) over the "what" (consistency).

I had it backward.

This year, I'm flipping the model.

My new goal is simple: 40 weeks of 2+ videos.

And the strategy to get there is something I call "Create for the Tribe, Distribute to Strangers."

Here is the difference:

The Old Way:

You try to guess what strangers on the internet want.

You write a script to please them.

You edit it to keep their retention.

You stress about the packaging.

It feels like a performance.

And it’s exhausting.

The New Way:

You look at your clients (the Tribe).

You ask: "What do they need to hear today?"

You record the answer.

No script or fancy edits.

Then you post it on YouTube for the Strangers to see.

The content isn't a performance anymore.

It's an artifact of you serving your people.

If strangers like it, great. They join the funnel.

If they don't, great. Your clients still got value.

You win either way.

This removes the friction.

It removes the need for scripts because you already know how to talk to your clients.

It removes the fear of "fumbling" because you're just helping a friend.

The goal isn't to be a YouTuber, but a leader who documents their leadership.

I’m including this exact workflow in Phase 2 of the AI Client Factory.

It’s how you build a Content Machine that doesn’t require a media team to run.
