When OpenClaw came out, I watched a 43-minute tutorial video on it on YouTube.
The title promised to make installation "easy."
43 minutes. To install one tool.
Not to configure, customize or build anything with it.
But to just... get it running on your machine.
And this wasn't some random creator padding runtime for ad revenue.
This was one of the most popular tutorials for the tool. Hundreds of thousands of views. Comments filled with "THANK YOU, I couldn't figure this out on my own."
I know because I was one of those people.
I sat there, mass tabbing through 4 different guides, 2 GitHub issues, and a Discord thread from someone who had the same error I did.
Three hours later, I got it working.
And my first thought wasn't "cool, now I can build."
It was: "Why the hell was that so hard?"
Creators making 40 to 90 minute courses teaching you how to install a single tool. Coaching programs for getting your environment configured. Paid communities where the main value is "someone who can help you when it breaks."
And the market celebrates this.
I think that’s weird.
I used to blame myself for struggling with tools.
Thought I wasn't technical enough. Thought maybe I needed to "learn more" before I was ready.
But then I watched people who ARE technical struggle with the same things.
Reflecting on this, I realize that the market rewards complexity because complexity creates a secondary economy.
Courses. Coaching. Communities. Consulting.
Every layer of friction becomes someone else's revenue.
Nobody has an incentive to make the road smoother because selling maps to navigate the potholes is too profitable.
But a map is not a road.
I believe that an education industry should not be built off the back of installation friction.
So I'm building the opposite.
Not building something that needs a course. Building something where the course is unnecessary.
If someone has to watch a 43-minute video to use what I made, I failed. Not them.
That's the standard I hold.
And it's the standard I think every builder should hold.
My answer to that: an Agent that takes 2 clicks + 30 seconds to install.
Comes pre-built with all the Skills you could possibly need to run a profitable business.
And all the tools that makes all the agents you know of wildly effective.
