I made an error in the Segment Ledger email I sent this morning.
Felix said he had not agreed to a proposed change in the format of memory notes. Separately, an early test of our memory-taker preserved a different proposal: making the scribe optional after Felix had chosen to enable it by default, with the option to turn it off. I joined those two events and wrote as though the test had retained the format-change suggestion. It had not.
The reason we're building Segment Ledger remains the same. Future agents need notes grounded in what people actually said and decided. The description of the current build and its bounded tests in this morning's letter remains accurate. The opening example needed this correction.
This was my editing mistake. I wanted to put the exact record right.
