AI writes better now. That's not a good thing.

Someone in my WhatsApp group asked to see samples of reflection-turned-authority content.

They wanted to know the difference between my Introspection GPT (a CustomGPT I built last year) and The Evolving Authority system (my latest writer).

So I pulled up three AI systems to prove my latest and greatest.

Same prompt. Three AI systems.

  • Standard Claude,

  • ChatGPT 4.5, and

  • The Evolving Authority AI.

I was expecting heaven-and-earth differences.

But honestly and surprisingly, the gap is no longer as dramatic as it used to be.

Check out the results in the screenshots below.

In case you're wondering, no, I wouldn't use the content as-is.

I'm still noticing is the tell-tale literary devices often used by AI:

  • Two-part defensive statements like "It isn't just about A - it's about B"

  • Cliche's like "No A. No B. Just C."

  • Hyperphoras: "[Question]? [Answer]" → Result of the AI trying to be 'conversational'

There are also a host of other issues I won't get into right now.

But the gap isn't as dramatic as it once was.

All three are coherent and readable.

The differences are in tone and style rather than basic quality.

The output is close enough that most people wouldn't mind taking over manually from the raw output.

Which, let's be honest, used to be cringe.

Now it takes just a few edits and you've got decent content.

And, remember that 'today' is the worst that AI is ever going to get.

It's only going to get smarter from here on out.

The premium for AI prompts is lowering every day.

As AI advances even more, we can probably expect AI to write even better.

We'll need fewer "prompts."

Eventually, prompting might disappear altogether (even without people like me making "promptless" AI processes).

This sounds like good news.

Until you realize that when everyone's AI writes well, everyone sounds the same.

So what's the differentiator?

I think its going to go from "who has better AI processes" to "who has better insights to feed the AI."

And "who can come up with and scale their unique methodology" vs "sharing proven methodologies."

Today, inauthenticity is running rampant.

Fake things look real. Real things look fake.

And I believe we can expect this trend to continue.

Everyone's copying everyone else's "proven" frameworks.

This brings me to what I think is the next most important thing for us AI users.

We need to become even more insightful.

We need to have Original Thoughts.

Embrace our unique perspectives.

Scale our authenticity.

And stuff like that can only come when we actually think each day.

Instead of delegating the thinking to AI.

There will be more premium for "human content" over "great content" pretty soon.

When everyone's content is well written thanks to AI, whose content will they actually trust?

My bet is on the one with unique insights that others can't/won't talk about.

The one who sounds different because they think different.

And to do that, they need to actually...think.

The danger today is that most people aren't even thinking anymore.

They just delegate their thinking to AI entirely.

We need to bring the focus back to the human.

Which is why this month's Project is titled, "Augment, Then Duplicate."

Why duplicate adequacy when you can duplicate brilliance?

If augmenting the human (you) is of interest to you,

I'm running two workshops in the following sequence:

Phase 1: The Evolving Authority (June 30)

Learn how to use AI to augment your intelligence while gaining authority.

Extract insights others miss.

Sharpen your taste.

Become someone worth listening to while AI makes everyone else generic.

Phase 2: The Augmented Authority (July 14)

Scale YOUR unique methodology instead of generic frameworks.

When everyone can create "good" content, only unique expertise creates referrals.

Use AI to help you get your clients better results.

The gap between AI systems is shrinking.

The gap between humans who evolve with AI and those who delegate thinking to it?

That's about to explode.

4 days till we close.

Full details here.

FELIX

P.S. Yesterday someone told me my daily emails "just hit different."

They couldn't explain why.

That's what taste is.

That's what The Evolving Authority develops.

In a world where everyone sounds the same, different is everything.
