My three shifts for 2026

I spent a lot of last year trying to raise my ceiling.

I wanted more subscribers. More revenue. More output.

But the problem with raising only the ceiling was that there was no foundation.

When stress hit—Stripe ban, tech issues, life—I fell to my floor.

My habits collapsed, the diet broke, and the content stopped.

Learning from my mistakes, next year I am going to do something a little different.

.

1. Letting It All THROUGH (The Emotional Floor)

I used to suppress stress.

I'd feel the urge to binge or quit, and I'd fight it.

Suppression works for a day. It fails in a week.

It didn't even occur to me how much I was suppressing until NEO pointed it out for me.

So now, I'm gonna focus on "letting through."

When the wave of stress hits, I don't fight it.

I acknowledge it, and let it pass through me without grabbing onto it.

This will be my mantra when stress hits: whether it's food cravings, conflict, or camera insecurities.

Fighting stress makes it stronger.

I'm letting it pass through instead.

.

2. Become Process Focused (The Mental Floor)

I was obsessed with the outcome (10,000 subscribers).

That only made me stressed with the process.

I took on a YouTube growth mentorship, learned all the video-making rules, tried to create 'viral videos' to get views and subscribers.

It made me inconsistent.

I became inconsistent because I was chasing someone else's formula.

I had things to say.

But I kept waiting for permission from the rules.

So in 2026, the floor is publishing twice weekly, period.

The new motto: “Let it be ugly.”

I'm detaching from the result and committing to the rep.

I can't control if 10,000 people subscribe.

But I can control if I publish 2 videos this week.

Already did 1 today.

.

3. No More Rules (The Meta Floor)

In 2025, my "bad weeks" were weeks where I did nothing.

I was too rigid.

Everything came with rules because I had 'high standards.'

But those standards didn't create quality.

They created paralysis.

It’s much better to ship ugly than to ship nothing.

So in 2026 I'm making things frictionless.

No more rules.

I say what I feel like saying, without fear of it being "off-brand" or how it looks.

In 2026, my "bad weeks" will be weeks where I still ship the minimum.

This flexibility will be crucial as I focus on my YouTube.

My one-word intention: Adaptability.

I do what's easiest, and let my message carry me.
