Brain vs heart

"I cannot connect with my client through my brain. I can only connect with them through my heart."

Isaac said this on the virtual coffee chat earlier, and it stopped the room.

He went on to report a massive win he had this year.

From struggling to close $2,000 deals to signing a $150,000 project.

The difference was his relationship with himself.

Here's what happened.

Isaac is 37, copywriter and marketer by trade.

He’s tried multiple businesses over the past decade and watched all of them fail.

For most of those years, he operated purely from his brain.

Logic, analysis, strategy, figuring things out.

He thought if he just worked harder, planned better, and learned more, eventually something would click.

It never did.

Deals kept slipping away.

He'd show up to client conversations armed with research and preparation, then watch the opportunity dissolve anyway.

What he didn't realize was that (in his own words) some deep-seated negativity was showing up in those conversations.

  • Lack of self-esteem

  • Lack of belief

  • Years of avoiding difficult emotions

Clients could feel it even when he couldn't see it himself.

Then he found my Envisioning Process.

He said it changed his life.

At one point he was even using it 8 hours a day, working through things with the AI coach that he would never tell another human being.

There were moments where he was crying and just kept going, kept talking to Claude, kept working through whatever came up.

He described it as reconnecting his heart to his brain after shutting it off for decades.

I'm always happy when someone tells me the Envisioning Process changed their life.

Because it changed mine too.

His exact words: "I cannot connect with my client through my brain. I can only connect with them through my heart. And that was a big lesson for me."

The shift wasn't about better scripts or sharper positioning.

It was about becoming someone who could actually be present with another person instead of hiding behind analysis.

This year, Isaac closed a $150,000 deal.

He went from struggling to land $2,000 projects to signing something 75 times larger.

The difference was just this - his relationship with himself.

I share this because a lot of people think their problem is tactical.

They believe they need a better offer, a better funnel, better copy, more followers.

Sometimes that's true.

But sometimes the real block is internal, and no amount of strategy will fix what's actually a self-relationship problem.
